The presence of a place of worship in this location is documented as early as 1328, while the current structure was rebuilt in the 16th century in Gothic style.<\/p>\n<p>The church houses important works of sacred art. Among these, the Baroque marble altar stands out, enriched with statues of Saints Joseph and Lawrence.
