It was consecrated in 1924. The brick salient fa\u00e7ade is surmounted by five pinnacles and reveals the three-nave structure of the interior.<\/p>\n<p>The most valuable work of art in it is the altarpiece with the <em>Assumption of the Virgin<\/em> by Francesco da Milano (1540). Other noteworthy works of art are a <em>Crucifixion<\/em> by Giovanni Possamai and a <em>Virgin with the Child Jesus<\/em> by Marta Sammartini, both twentieth century.
