Around 1920 a kitchen and rooms above were added, which were connected to the lower floor by a wooden staircase. In 1945 a second kitchen and bedroom were built on the upper floor.

The main theme is the rooms and furnishings of traditional life and economy. It is divided into 4 rooms where tools for woodworking, farming, animal husbandry, and preparation of long-keeping foods derived from pig, sheep-goat and cattle farming were arranged.

In the attic, su staulu farzu (the false attic), food supplies for the entire year were stored. The rooms of the house are furnished with furniture, objects and tools that reconstruct their original function. Particularly interesting is the corner dedicated to bread making, with the donkey mill and flour sieves. Architectural barriers are present.

The house museum offers a glimpse of typical Sadalese life until about 1950. The centerpiece consists of S’Assargiu, a handcrafted way of lighting a fire, composed of the iron tinder, flint (quartz) and a horn container (sa corriesca) where the bait (ferula of coal or horse dung) sits.

Aunt Cramella’s House of Sadali is situated right in the middle of the ancient village.

[51013
76191,76190
28444
post-310247","what-to-see","type-what-to-see","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","village-conntection-sadali-it","what-to-see-region-and-provinces-cagliari-en","what-to-see-region-and-provinces-sardinia","what-to-see-category-museum
["GET
