Nestled in a peaceful, rural setting, it stands as a valuable testament to the religious history of this Apulian village.

Its origins date back to around the year 1000, although the present building was probably constructed during the 13th century. Over time, the church has maintained a strong bond with the local community, becoming a focal point for popular devotion.

The interior, simple and intimate, houses several works of particular value. Among these, a 16th-century stone statue of Saint Lucy stands out, still venerated today by the village’s inhabitants. The presence of this sculpture bears witness to the continuity of worship and the deep bond between the place and the local religious tradition.

The little church, despite its architectural simplicity, retains an authentic charm born of history, faith and simplicity.
