The arrival of summer coincides with one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year in Italy\u2019s small historic towns. Saturday 20 June 2026<\/strong> sees the return of the Romantic Night<\/strong>, the national event promoted by the Association of Italy\u2019s Most Beautiful Villages<\/strong>, which transforms squares, alleyways and panoramic views into places dedicated to love, beauty and shared emotions. For its eleventh edition, the event will involve over 230 villages spread across the entire peninsula, from Valle d\u2019Aosta to Sicily, offering visitors a unique experience combining culture, music, gastronomy and evocative atmospheres.<\/p>\n

A special evening in the heart of authentic Italy<\/h2>\n

Romantic Night was created with the aim of showcasing Italy\u2019s small historic towns through an experience that combines the charm of these places with the emotion of love. It is not merely a festival for couples, but a celebration of the beauty of these villages, local traditions and human connections.<\/p>\n

For one evening, the streets are illuminated with soft lighting, candles and artistic installations. Restaurants, taverns and local businesses offer special menus, whilst musical performances, concerts, exhibitions, guided tours and cultural events entertain residents and visitors until late in the evening.
