{"id":231251,"date":"2023-01-17T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-01-16T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/hope-returns-to-amatrice-the-red-zone-is-reopened\/"},"modified":"2024-09-27T18:12:33","modified_gmt":"2024-09-27T16:12:33","slug":"hope-returns-to-amatrice-the-red-zone-is-reopened","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/en\/news\/hope-returns-to-amatrice-the-red-zone-is-reopened\/","title":{"rendered":"Hope returns to Amatrice: the &#8216;red zone&#8217; is reopened"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>Amatrice&#8217;s wounded heart is no longer off limits and returns to be more hopeful than ever. <strong>31 months<\/strong> after the earthquake of <strong>24 August 2016<\/strong> (yes, three years have passed since the huge catastrophe that caused the death of 239 people), the Municipality of Reatino officially reopens the so-called &#8220;<strong>red zone<\/strong>&#8220;, that is that part of the reduced country in rubble that from now on will be accessible again.<\/p>\n<p>The decision was taken by the <strong>Single Inter-municipal Operative Center of Civil Protection<\/strong> which, after verifying the safety conditions of the historic center, until now forbidden to the public, has returned the reins of the village to the administration of <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/en\/village\/Rieti\/5\/amatrice\" rel=\"noopener\">Amatrice<\/a>.<\/strong> We then thought the councilors of the Lazio Region at the Policies for reconstruction, <strong>Claudio Di Berardino<\/strong>, and at the Urban Planning, <strong>Massimiliano Valeriani<\/strong> to issue the happy news of the definitive cancellation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u00ab<em>The work carried out by the Lazio Region in the aftermath of the earthquake guaranteed certain times in the management of the emergency and in the <strong>reconstruction phase<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; stated Di Berardino &#8211; <em>The road is still long, but certainly the reopening of all the areas marks the achievement of a fundamental goal<\/em>\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" alt=\" src=\" https: width=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-ultimate-csv-importer-pro\/importExtensions\/..\/assets\/images\/loading-image.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Amatrice\" src=\"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-ultimate-csv-importer-pro\/importExtensions\/..\/assets\/images\/loading-image.jpg\" width=\"800\"><\/p>\n<p>A goal that represents the <strong>starting point<\/strong> of a marvelous village that has cried, suffered and today it also tries to reappear to <strong>tourism<\/strong> thanks to the commitment and tenacity of those who decided to continue living in Amatrice, despite the trauma of the cataclysm, and of who made himself available to the amatricians to help them in a concrete way. <strong>Hope<\/strong> is the last to die.
