Now in its 18th edition, the event involves the town\u2019s three districts \u2013 Piazza, Valle and Borgo \u2013 in a thrilling contest that celebrates the community\u2019s history and identity.<\/p>\n<p>The heart of the event is Piazza dei Consoli, where the main competitions and most eagerly awaited events take place. For over a week, the town is transformed into a vast open-air stage, with parades, shows, music and activities that bring the charm of the town\u2019s ancient rivalries back to life.<\/p>\n<p>The competitions between the districts alternate with a packed programme of evening events, offering visitors an experience that combines historical re-enactment, entertainment and public participation. Each evening is enlivened by concerts, shows and festive celebrations that bring residents and tourists together in an atmosphere of genuine conviviality.<\/p>\n<p>Local cuisine also takes centre stage, thanks to the traditional \u2018Locande dei Rioni\u2019, which are open every evening during the event.
