{"id":387196,"date":"2026-07-09T15:15:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-09T13:15:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/en\/events\/\/"},"modified":"2026-07-09T15:18:54","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T13:18:54","slug":"pacentro-del-mondo","status":"publish","type":"eb_event","link":"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/en\/events\/pacentro-it\/pacentro-del-mondo\/","title":{"rendered":"PaCentro del Mondo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From <strong>24 to 26 July 2026<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/en\/village\/pacentro\/\"><strong>Pacentro<\/strong>,<\/a> one of <strong>Italy\u2019s Most Beautiful Villages<\/strong> in the heart of the Maiella National Park, is hosting a new edition of <strong>PaCentro del Mondo<\/strong>, the food and wine festival that combines wine, the local area, culture and sustainability in an immersive experience amidst the beauty of Abruzzo.<\/p>\n<p>The event takes place across the grounds of the <strong>former Convent of the Minori Osservanti<\/strong>, Piazza del Popolo and the village\u2019s historic centre, offering a packed programme of tastings, meetings with producers, excursions, treks and outdoor activities, designed to showcase the culinary, wine and scenic excellence of the Peligna Valley.<\/p>\n<p>The highlight of the event will be <strong>Friday 24 July<\/strong>, starting at <strong>4.00 pm<\/strong>, with the large <strong>tasting counters<\/strong> where visitors can sample wines from numerous Italian wineries directly alongside the winemakers. Accompanying the tastings will be culinary offerings curated by <strong>Buonvento<\/strong> and <strong>Cantina di Biffi<\/strong>, in collaboration with chef <strong>Daniela Maiorano<\/strong>, who will showcase local produce through dishes brimming with flavour and creativity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>On Saturday 25 July<\/strong>, the festival continues with a guided hike in the <strong>Maiella National Park<\/strong>, complemented by the traditional <strong>shepherd\u2019s breakfast<\/strong> \u2013 an authentic experience to discover Abruzzo\u2019s nature and traditions.
