A much-loved event in the heart of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.e-borghi.com\/en\/location\/italy\/cilento\/\"><strong>Cilento<\/strong><\/a> that celebrates one of the region\u2019s most iconic fruits: the cherry, affectionately known as \u2018cerasa\u2019 in the local dialect.<\/p>\n<p>For three consecutive evenings, the small village will be transformed into the \u201cland of cherries\u201d, welcoming visitors, families and tourists with aromas, flavours and traditions that capture the authentic spirit of Cilento. From 8.00 pm, the food stalls will offer a rich menu based on cherries, accompanied by typical local dishes prepared according to ancient recipes from the farming tradition.<\/p>\n<p>Among the new features of the 2026 edition are new dishes dedicated to the Cilento cherry, capable of enhancing both sweet creations and surprising pairings from the Salerno culinary tradition. The festival thus represents a special opportunity to discover the authentic flavours of the region and enjoy an experience immersed in the conviviality of Southern Italy\u2019s folk festivals.<\/p>\n<p>Each evening will be accompanied by the folk music of Manuel Scarpitta, with rhythms and sounds that will make the atmosphere even more engaging and festive.
