A festival that celebrates the arrival of spring through history, re-enactments and a sense of community.<\/p>\n<p>During the festival, the historic centre is transformed into an authentic medieval village: narrow streets, squares and picturesque corners become the stage for songs, music, jousts and costumed performances, offering visitors an immersive experience of the past.<\/p>\n<p>The protagonists of the contest are the town\u2019s two historic factions: the Nobilissima Parte de Sopra and the Magnifica Parte de Sotto, who compete for the Palio through historical processions, re-enactments, games and evocative singing performances.
