The idea of the Cooperative came from 16 winemakers in 1962; later, in 1971, the company obtains a mill and carries out the first milling. Currently 500 members confer grapes and 300 members olives. In addition to the traditional varieties, the area offers Albana, Trebbiano and Sangiovese, as well as a series of very interesting varieties such as Cabernet, Merlot and Chardonnay, which allow the development of winemaking and types that determine a very wide range of products. Since 1962, CAB has been producing several qualities of wine and oil, including the renowned “Brisighella PDO Brisighello”. Among the many typical products of the area, in the company’s points of sale you can also find moretto artichokes, shallots, jams, honeys, cured meats and cheeses from small local producers. The company organises also educational workshops, tastings and visits to the oil mill.
