Nonna Peppina, nestled between the ancient walls and arches of the village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, a stone’s throw from the very special Piazzetta Medicea, offers products exclusively from the Abruzzo region. Here you will find typical and traditional products, thanks to local producers who with tenacity over time have preserved all their authenticity.
At Nonna Peppina’s there is a multiple selection of wines, liqueurs, typical sweets (the very good Ferratelle), cured meats, cheeses (the famous Canestrato di Castel del Monte), honey, saffron, legumes, flours and sweets with black corn, Sulmona’s confetti and the Black Heart of Abruzzo, the truffle.
Inside the store it is possible to taste some of the products while outside there is also a refreshment area with table service for tastings, chopping boards, snacks and tasty appetizers.
Nonna Peppina offers upon request of Tour Operators, tour guides or other organizers who happen to organize tours or events, tasty tastings to the participants for a pleasant stop during the walk through the village.
