The Celli winery is located just a stone’s throw from the ancient village of Bertinoro, in Emilia-Romagna. Founded in 1963 by the Sirri and Casadei families, nicknamed Bron and Rusèval, the winery started with the peasant values of simple, well-made wines and over the years became a reference for the classic nature of its terroir.
Today, after more than 55 vintages of experience, the winery produces wines from a collection of carefully selected vineyards located around the village of Bertinoro. The diversity of soils and microclimates of the 4 estates defines 4 different characters, a collection that allows for wines of great balance and deeply territorial.
The Celli winery cultivates 35 hectares, and after the conversion phase to organic farming, from August 1, 2020 all the grapes produced are BIO certified. This means that all production processes respect the criteria of environmental sustainability and consumer health protection.
In addition, Bertinoro enjoys the legacy of Spungone, the limestone rock of organic origin that formed in the shallows when Romagna emerged from the sea. This rock, combined with the presence of active limestone, gives the wines unique characteristics!
Cantina Celli offers its customers the opportunity to taste the wines at the counter and purchase them directly from the winery. It also organizes guided tastings to raise awareness of the characteristics of its products, guaranteeing a true sensory experience. You can discover how Celli wines are stored and aged before being bottled and sold.
The Celli Winery is a true excellence of Romagna oenology. Thanks to the care of the vines, careful selection of grapes and traditional processing, it manages to offer high quality wines that are an authentic expression of the surrounding territory. If you love good wine, you cannot miss Cantina Celli.
