Da Nando’s Restaurant was born in 1972 for a courageous initiative of Ferdinando (Nando) Dalò with his wife Ermida Lally, who after years of leadership in an inn in vintage, near Sirmione, followed an experience as a cook for some important hotel kitchens Del Garda, decide to open a club in their native country. After a series of qualitative changes, always with the intention to improve, the restaurant passes into the hands of his daughter Eleonora in 1991, who still manages the place with her sister, the girl.
The small and hospitable family restaurant is located among the charming alleys of the ancient village of Villa, among the smallest and most superannuated fractions of the municipality of Tremosine Sul Garda. It is accessed by a staircase dipped between two huge jasmines, then to be greeted by a restaurant and an adjoining garden.
The Mediterranean cuisine offers a nice choice, with ample breath to the first dishes, and does not overlook the second fish and meat. Particular attention is given to the products of the Alto Garda territory, from oil, cheese and wines. The wine list, drawn up with meticulous commitment, with about 80 labels, in addition to the wines of the Territory, also emphasizes the various Italian regions, and also proposing some of the most prestigious international names.
