Amazas is located at 1180 meters above sea level next to the SS 24 of Montgenèvre from which the road branches off which, crossing a bridge over the Dora di Cesana, reaches it on the left orographic side. Together with Soubras and Vazon it constitutes the Adrèi, the indirect. The houses maintain the typical mountain architecture and, among these, the old community oven can still be visited. The small church is dedicated to Sant’Andrea and dates back to the 17th century. Various hiking trails start from the village which allow you to reach the village of Soubras, the Borgata Vazon, and the Madonna del Cotolivier.
