At dawn, the population is awakened by the sound of bells shaken by some figures disguised as cows, heifers and bulls ruled by a cowherd, who gather at the church dedicated to the saint for the blessing. From here begins a procession in the rite of transhumance through the streets of the town. The Carnival ends, the last Sunday before Shrove Tuesday with the burning of the carnival puppet, weeping and stationary for his wife Quaremma. Tricarico
