Schedule

Start your day with a pick-up service in the center of Siena. Meet your guide and board a minivan to depart for Montalcino.

Travel to the Tuscan hills and first stop at a small winery for a walk through the vineyards. Swirl the wine in your glass and sip on the famous Brunello di Montalcino, touring the cellars with your guide.

Next, you will arrive in the town of Montalcino, in the region of the same name. Enjoy some free time to wander around independently, admiring the views of the valley below, peeking at the stores or tasting more Brunello wines.

Next, visit a family-run winery, where you can meet the winemakers. Dive into culinary traditions with a lunch of antipasti, pasta or risotto and dessert along with delicious local wines.

Once you've satiated your appetite, head to the ancient Benedictine Abbey of Sant'Antimo. Learn about the incredible history of the structure as you follow the guide inside. On another occasion, visitors can listen to monks chant Gregorian chants as you admire the view.

End your journey with a visit to a third winery for an interesting lecture on production, the winemaking process, aging, and more. Take a seat for a final tasting before returning to Siena.
