Schedule

FIRST DAY - VALLAGARINA AND VALLE DEI LAGHI | MARZEMINO, NOSIOLA AND HOLY WINE

The journey of taste begins in Vallagarina, the southern gateway to Trentino characterised by small villages, castles and, above all, vineyards. The tour begins with a visit to a wine cellar where you can taste the Marzemino, a wine that is a symbol of the area and was even praised by Mozart in Don Giovanni, before diving into a guided tasting session. Afternoon Lake Garda, with a stop in Nago, its natural panoramic terrace that allows you to admire the entire northern part of the lake. Then it's off to Valle dei Laghi to visit small farms and discover the fascinating history of Vino Santo, a precious passito wine produced only in Trentino. In the evening, there will be a romantic stop at Lake Toblino, where you can admire the famous Renaissance castle reflected in its waters.  Dinner in one of the restaurants in the area where you can sample some of the most typical dishes of Lake Garda tradition. Overnight stay in a facility in the area.

SECOND DAY - TRENTO CITY CENTRE AND HILLS - ROTALIAN FLOOR | TRENTODOC and TEROLDEGO ROTALIANO

The second day to discover Trento and above all the Trentodoc, the classic Trentino method par excellence created at the beginning of the 1900s by Giulio Ferrari. After a rich breakfast based on Trentino products, a visit to a Trentodoc producer followed by a tour of the historic centre of the city of the Council, with a stroll through the 16th-century streets and frescoed palaces. Those who still feel the call of the bubbles will not be able to miss out on an inviting Trentodoc-themed aperitif in one of the bars in the centre, while enjoying a lunch in one of the historic restaurants that enliven the centre of the capital. The afternoon continues towards the Piana Rotaliana, described as "the most beautiful vineyard garden in Europe". A stop in the wineries in Mezzocorona or Mezzolombardo and it will be time to get to know the Teroldego Rotaliano, the prince of Trentino wines and the first DOC in the province's production history. One more suggestion for history lovers? Take a dip into the past with a visit to the Museo degli Usi e Costumi della Gente Trentina San Michele all’Adige.  Overnight stay in a accommodation facility in the area.

THIRD DAY - VAL DI CEMBRA | MUELLER THURGAU

The morning begins with the discovery of the Cembra Valley, an area to the northeast of Trento known throughout the world for the extraction of porphyry and for the fascinating terraced vineyards where the Müller Thurgau is grown, a grape variety that has found its natural cradle here. After a visit to one of the area's small farms,a stroll through the vineyards will allow you to fully enjoy the panorama of small roads and dry-stone walls, whose peculiarities caught the attention of the famous painter Dürer.  Lunch in a restaurant in the hills around Lavis to admire the vineyards below from above.  Free afternoon to continue discovering the area, with visits of your choice that we can recommend and book according to your individual preferences.
