Veneto

Veneto is morphologically the most diverse region in Italy: it has mountains (the splendid Dolomites), plains (the Po Valley), hills (where fine wines are produced), a lake (Garda, the largest in our country ), the sea (the Adriatic coast, among the most popular summer destinations) and even a lagoon (where the capital Venice is located). And, even from the point of view of villages, Veneto offers a wide range of types. They range from fortified villages like Montagnana to lagoon villages like Chioggia, via seaside villages like Caorle and alpine villages like Sottoguda, or lakeside ones like Lazise. In short, Veneto is truly spoiled for choice. And the choice will always be the best!
