It has enriched the proposal and artistic and cultural heritage of the Lake of Garda, thanks to MarteS, Art Museum Sorlini of Calvagese della Riviera, in the province of Brescia. On 31 March, in fact, has opened its doors to the public this new museum collection, hosted in the elegant and seventeenth-century palace that was the residence of Luciano Sorlini - 1925-2015 -, now the seat of the Foundation that bears her name. The exhibition unfolds in fourteen halls for a total surface of one thousand square meters and allows visitors to seize the sensitivity, the spirit as well as the change with which the farmer, in over fifty years of painstaking research, has collected valuable works of the great masters of the eighteenth century Venetian style. The choice of the Paintings has never been bound by the signature, but subject only and exclusively to the personal taste of Sorlini and the state of conservation of the work. Are well 154 the paintings, collected by the industrialist Brescian Luciano Sorlini in over fifty years of passionate research. They are complemented by other works, the property of the heirs: paintings, tables in gold fourteenth century, further eighteenth century paintings of the eighteenth century Venetian style. A group of paintings - large size - representative of the Venetian painting and venetian from the fourteenth to the nineteenth century, which are brought together works of significant authors Lombardi. The names of Tiepolo, Ricci, Guardi and Canaletto, for example, alongside those of painters not so well known but essential to the development of visual arts of the Serenissima: Pittoni, Diziani, Molinari, Bellucci and Fontebasso. Embellish this extraordinary pinacoteca also works of Giovanni Bellini, Bramantino, Padovanino and many others.
