Castellando, in a train among the villages

An elixir of centuries-old traditions and genuine flavors, an opportunity to be marked on the agenda to discover not only nature and well-being, but also culture. Where is it? In the valley of the Terme of Comano: the green triumph of its landscape is interspersed with dozens of small villages of unaltered charm - some included in the "most beautiful villages in Italy" - and traces of the past that resurface in archaeological sites and ancient manors , rich in history, legends and folklore. To experience all this, here is Castellando, a guided tour in a little train that winds through ancient noble residences, historic walls and furnishings, a journey through the symbols of the power of the historic bishop principality of Trento and the influential territorial families. Do not miss the castle of Stenico, for centuries inhabited by the captain of Giudicarie - today detached museum site of the castle of Buonconsiglio di Trento -, manor perched on the hill from which you can admire a breathtaking landscape as well as Castel Campo, nestled in the woods at the bottom of the valley, ancient residence of the noble family of the counts of Campo, now a private residence. The complete program of Castellando includes, in addition to visiting the Stenico Castle, several activities including a lunch with local products and zero kilometer, an aperitif at Castel Campo, a visit to the former Franciscan cloister of Campo Lomaso and an overview of the whole of the Lomaso area, with Castel Spine, former residence of the noble family of the counts of Arco. Castellando is scheduled for 28 April and 15 September 2018.
