The Tessitura di Sauris was created by Sandra and Adriana Schneider, who opposed the rumor mentioned in the 20th century by the writer Saurano Fulgenzio Schneider: "... there will no longer be a man bent on the loom to weave the canvas".
In fact, tradition saw men dedicate themselves to the work of weaving, while the women cultivated, carded and spun the raw material: hemp, wool and linen.
The workshop is housed in a traditional Saurana house in stone and wood wall and the warm smell of wool and the kindness of the owners enhance and enhance the rich production on display.
The production is totally handmade and traditional, in fact we work with the hand loom and the textile products for home and clothing are processed with natural fibers.
The authenticity of the designs makes each piece unique and original, and customized items are also made to order.
