The Legnostile Art Laboratory was founded in 1992 in Sauris (UD) on the initiative of the Plozzer brothers.
Legnostile offers its customers natural and ecological products, unique in their kind:
The products offered link past and present and make use of the tradition for woodworking but with an eye to the future as far as design lines are concerned.
The articles made include the use of only local solid wood and non-toxic finishes in total respect for the environment and the health of the customer.
Legnostile is part of a 12-to-Many network of companies, born in Friuli Venezia Giulia and the first case in Italy of the forest-wood industry, which aims to produce and offer innovative products with low environmental impact, using wood and local companies, leaving a trace of a production process with PEFC chain of custody certification.
The wood used as raw material allows the perfect combination of craftsmanship with modern techniques obtaining final results every time unique and special.
The manual processing captures and enhances the typical characteristics of the wood that is from time to time used enhancing its qualities.
The processing with the help of a numerical control machine leaves the hand-crafted appearance unaltered, in fact the products obtained are never in series but are always unique and particular pieces.
Furthermore, to obtain special effects, some processes are carried out, such as the planer effect, which, together with the "always manual" brushing, enhance and revive the traditional warmth of wood.
The finishes are made with non-toxic oils or varnishes to preserve and enhance the product obtained and protect the health of the customer and the environmental context in which the final product will then be inserted.
