The seat of the Ladin Museum of Fassa, inaugurated in 2001, hosts the ethnographic collections of the Istitut Cultural Ladin, result of twenty years of research, ordered according to precise logical criteria and dedicated to different aspects of the ladin civilization. Designed in its essential lines since the years 1978-79, reflects the image of a lively community and self-conscious, characterized by its language, by a territory and a particular history: subject of exposure is properly the process of formation of a people or etnogenesi, through the testimonies of material culture and spiritual origins up to the present time. An image of vitality, which is reflected in the exhibition structure itself, where the culture of the Ladin minority it defines in its dimension of news. One of the most significant aspects in the staging is constituted by a system for multimedia support SSM, a system of 17 information points, managed by a computer network and equipped with touch-screen interactive, distributed along the entire path museario: from here the visitor can access 74 short movies monothematics concerning individual objects or aspects of exposure, with original sound and text in multiple languages. In addition to the exhibition halls, the Museum has a deposit can be visited, a multimedia room for didactic activity, a book-shop and museum-shop with objects and gadgets of high quality. The museum structure is not exhausted in the Headquarters but is divided in the Museum on the territory with its "local Sections" that form a veritable ethnographic path through the whole valley: the SIA (the Venetian sawmill) to Penia in Canazei, the Molin de Pezol (il Mulino) in Pera di Fassa, the Malghier (Malgaro) in Pera di Fassa (at the social dairy Val di Fassa) and the Boteiga from Pinter (la bottega del Cooper) in Moena.
