built on an imposing rocky ground in a panoramic position on the village surrounding, consecrated and opened for worship in 1454, the Church of S. Gregory the Great in Savoulx has maintained a certain homogeneity of style, with elements romanesque and gothic and with an intervention of 1662 relating to the reconstruction of the apse area. Is characterised externally by a lithe bell tower with cusp, while the facade is enriched by a stone portal dated 1532.

The high altar, with the rich wooden retable carved, is assigned to Jacques Jesse of Embrun in the coming years to 1662, the impressive cantoria instead dates back to 1555. The recent restoration has brought to light in the left nave a frescoed cycle of the second decade of the sixteenth century attributed to the Maestro di Savoulx, depicting scenes from the life of Sant'Antonio Abate, while on the side wall there are frescoes more fragmentary depicting God the Father, Santa Caterina d'Alessandria and scenes from the life of the Virgin.
