St. Leonard's Church, in Montefollonico, is remembered from 1216, characterized by a transition style between romanesque and gothic, has a single nave and transept limited to the left arm. The facade is crowned by a frame supported by arches resting on mensolette decorated with motifs that are repeated on the right side; there opens a beautiful portal splayed strongly, with guide pins from the richly ornamented capitals and with a round arch; the architrave is supported by sculptured corbels. The eye in bricks appears to be the fruit of a rear remake. On the right side you open another portal, with the jambs flanked by columns with capitals with folios, and two gothic single lancet windows. The building is characterized by an accurate facewalls in stone.
