Only heroic wines are produced by the Cantine Marisa Cuomo. The grapes that grow clinging to the rock of Furore are exposed to the magical action of the sun and the sea of the Amalfi Coast and it is from here that the award-winning white Fiorduva, Furore Rosso Riserva, Costa d'Amalfi Rosato come. The wines produced here were already famous in ancient times. Since 1980, when it was founded, Cantine Marisa Cuomo has been the winery of Andrea Ferraioli and Marisa Cuomo that today extends over 10 hectares of land. The selection of noble grapes, the search for the right degree of freshness and humidity combined with the flow of time, old secrets handed down by local winemakers and advanced processing techniques give rise to wines of the highest quality, esteemed throughout the world. Andrea Ferraioli and Marisa Cuomo, with the oenologist Luigi Moio and the winemakers of the company, choose to focus on quality to stand out in the panorama of Italian oenology with wines with a unique and extraordinary flavour as the area of the coast of Furore. Overlooking the sea at 500 meters above sea level, the Cantine Marisa Cuomo are situated on part of the Amalfi Coast located in the municipality of Furore. The vines, grown mainly in the form of "pergolas" and often planted on vertical rocky walls, cover an area of ten hectares. The wines of Cantine Marisa Cuomo age in an ancient cellar dug into the rock of dolomitic-calcareous origin: a fascinating place, humid and fresh, which houses the French oak barrels. Vinification takes place according to the most modern techniques, in a combination of nature and technology. In an area like Furore, the attention for the vines and grapes becomes a completely manual job.
