The territory that surrounds him is all to discover, the charm of ancient manors, unspoiled nature and intense flavors and delicate typical dishes, true gastronomic masterpieces to taste.
La Rocca Delicatessen is recognized as one of the most faithful guardians of norcina tradition (traditional charcuterie) in Emilia Romagna, thanks to the experience of his salami masters and the use of modern processing technologies for meat aging. The search of the quality, the selection of the most genuine meat and the care of products have allowed La Rocca Delicatessen to create some true gastronomic masterpieces. It is also among the founding members of the Consortium for the defence of the typical piacenza charcuterie and has also won the prestigious DOP European recognition (Protected Origin Denomination) for the piacentini air-cured pork meat, Salami and bacon, a certification that follows a very strictly technical specification, in order to ensure the high quality in products.
Inside La Rocca Delicatessen, placed on the road that open the way to Castell’Arquato, there is the Gold Pig Shop, a real selling point, where you can find the best of the traditional salami of the Italian Food Valley. Coppa Piacentina Dop, Pancetta Piacentina Dop, Salame Piacentino DOP together with a variety of charcuterie, including: Culatello, Fiocco di Culatello, Bresaola di suino, Salami, Strolghini and a wide assortment of fresh meat of swine and fresh sausage, producted to be cooked on your barbecues.
A rich selection of "ready cooked" products also awaits you, prepared by our Chef “GianCracco”, already prepared to be placed in the pot or on the grid. Without forgetting the renowned the Colli Piacentini wines, our valley cheeses, the honey, the oil and many other delicacies. Inside the Shop is also present a welcoming area for the tastings, where often is possible to taste various products.
On Saturday and Sunday morning, only on booking and for numerous groups, you can organize a guided visit of production and seasoning departments, or complete tastings, with salami and wine, set in the great processing hall.
