Hosted inside the Ducal Palace of Fossombrone, the Museum preserves the monumental finds and the objects discovered by Augusto Vernarecci during the excavations that have occurred in the locality of San Martino in plane, at the site of the Forum Sempronii, the Roman city from which the current Fossombrone draws its origin and name.
