Sant'Elia is the smallest and most romantic of the Sicilian seaside villages. A hamlet of the Municipality of Santa Flavia, the village of Sant'Elia is twenty minutes by car from the chaos of the city, an enchanting place with beaches, soft lights, fishing boats and romantic aperitifs not to be missed under the moon. Initially born as a seaside village under the control of an ancient tonnara, the inhabited center is largely located on a promontory that directly overlooks the sea, founded around the seventeenth century.
Sant'Elia is dominated by Solunto and all its history, and is also surrounded by the fascinating promontory of Capo Zafferano. The village is crossed by the sea and, on the mainland, there is a small climb, dominated by a cross, which offers a truly splendid panorama. To make the landscape even more evocative is a white house surrounded by the sea, with the classic sloping roof, which seems designed by the imagination of a child.
