La Colomba is a real "rustic" place, : a small family-run tavern, with no frills in the setting and furnishings, which are really simple, and in the courses. In the garden with open grill, if it's summer, you can taste the typical dishes of the Mantuan tradition as for example the bigoli with sardines. The best dishes to try at the restaurant are the grilled meat and grilled lake fish, such as perch fillet. All first courses are excellent and made with care. It is very impressive to dine outdoors under the pergola of wisteria by candlelight. The atmosphere is familiar and warm. The staff is very professional and knows how to make customers feel at ease.
