Share

The MuSel, housed on the third and fourth floor of Palazzo Fascie, was born with the aim to preserve and enhance the memory and the identity of the territory of Sestri Levante. With an innovative staging and exciting MuSel proposes a variety of exhibits: from the most ancient testimonies of the Palaeolithic period and the Metals Age, passing to the Roman Age and the Middle Ages up to the most recent testimonies of the city in the last century.

A wide cultural offer enriched by new and unique in its kind: The Cippus of Monte Ramaceto. Found in 2015 just below the top of the mountain, the boundary stone of the Roman era, documents the presence of imperial landed estates in the organization of the rural landscape of the Tigullio. Only one in the whole of Italy, and among the few documented elsewhere, the Cippus drew from immediately charm and curiosity toward the town and especially of the visitors of Palazzo Fascie.

A dynamic museum and strongly connected with the reality that surrounds him, also proposes further opportunity to meet with young people, with the birthday at the Museum. After several requests, opens the museum space to birthday parties on saturday and sunday from 3 pm to 7 pm. Structured packages created specially for occasions of this type, composed of a didactic laboratory choice of entry to the museum and Rent room next to refresh.

Opening times: every day 10-13 and 14-17.
