Sestri Levante is also called the city of the two seas, divided between the Bay of Fables, where it has been obtained the tourist harbor and the magic bay of silence. Always been a source of inspiration for writers, writers and scientists, the Bay of Silence is considered one of the most enchanting places of the Riviera Ligure.

Many illustrious guests stayed here: the writer Hans Christian Andersen, the composer Richard Wagner, the scientist Gugliemo Marconi, that at Sestri did many experiments in the homonymous Tower Marconi, and finally Arthur Van Schendel, famous Dutch writer that since 1921 began to spend at Sestri long periods with the family in the majestic White House, facing right on the bay.

Winner of the TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice™ Beaches Awards 2018, was confirmed one of the ten most beautiful beaches of Italy, conquering the sixth place. Characterized by crystal clear water, fine sand and typical ligurian houses pastel colored alternating with aristocratic historical buildings, witnesses of their vacation to the insignia of the comfort and of the high quality of life-style, typical in the nineteenth-century Gran Tour, of which the Baia became one of the favorite destinations during the ligurian stays.
