Church of Sant'Antonio da Padova

What to see in Limone Piemonte, Cuneo, Piedmont

The Church of Sant'Antonio was built in 1657 by vote against the plague and was enlarged in 1758 when the altar of San Rocco was built following the collapse of the chapel dedicated to the saint.
Reduced to military storage, then restored, it returned to worship in 1896, the last restoration dates back to 1969.
The building is characterized by a very sober and clean setting that dates back to the 1969 restoration.
Outside, the plastered facade is closed on the sides by two pilasters surmounted by pinnacles and a large curved pediment, while the side walls are made of exposed stones.
