By quality the bakery means not only the seven doughs that are prepared every day, but also the use of local raw materials. These include rye flour, which the bakery buys also from local farmers, trigonella, which is grown by the bakery itself, and also butter and milk, which come exclusively from Alto Adige. The Schuster bakery produces small breads with rye flour, emmer flour and sourdough. Ur-Paarl bread is a Slow Food product. Ur-Paarl in German means "the original double rye bread in the manner of the convent", and is the oldest variant of the typical Vinschger Paarl of Val Venosta. Our specialities are: Pala pear bread, apple strudel, apricot strudel, organic rye bread grown in Val Venosta, organic spelt bread.
