The Cembra Valley is one of the Historic Rural Landscapes of Italy, the legacy of our fathers to live, promote and cherish for the future. It is a mosaic of bold terraces supported by over seven hundred kilometers of dry stone walls, which today yield the fragrant Müller Thurgau, the elegant Riesling, the delicate Schiava, the intense Lagrein and the fresh Chardonnay ideal for mountain sparkling wines. The Cembra Valley is located a short distance from Trento, open towards the valleys of Fiemme and Fassa, on the axis of the Avisio stream, really door of the Dolimites. In this context, "Cembrani DOC" was born in 2012, a consortium of seven companies, five wineries and two distilleries, family run and determined to network to promote the territorial uniqueness of the Valle di Cembra, its farmers and its excellent productions, which contain not only the passion of entire generations, but also the history of a territory cultivated with vines since the 4th century BC, as evidenced by the discovery of the Situla on the Doss Caslir in Cembra, a discovery that makes the Cembra Valley the cradle oldest of the vine cultivation in Trentino.
