The Cembra Valley is one of the Historic Rural Landscapes of Italy, the legacy of our fathers to live, promote and cherish for the future. It is a mosaic of bold terraces supported by over seven hundred kilometers of dry stone walls, which today yield the fragrant Müller Thurgau, the elegant Riesling, the delicate Schiava, the intense Lagrein and the fresh Chardonnay ideal for mountain sparkling wines. The Cembra Valley is located a short distance from Trento, open towards the valleys of Fiemme and Fassa, on the axis of the Avisio stream, really door of the Dolimites. In this context, "Cembrani DOC" was born in 2012, a consortium of seven companies, five wineries and two distilleries, family run and determined to network to promote the territorial uniqueness of the Valle di Cembra, its farmers and its excellent productions, which contain not only the passion of entire generations, but also the history of a territory cultivated with vines since the 4th century BC, as evidenced by the discovery of the Situla on the Doss Caslir in Cembra, a discovery that makes the Cembra Valley the cradle oldest of the vine cultivation in Trentino.

Born as a web marketing project for the products of the cellars and distilleries through the e-commerce platform, the Consortium has introduced a new line of products under the "Cembrani DOC" brand, ambassadors of the peculiarities and characteristics organoleptic characteristics of mountain viticulture, such as the “708km” wine line, dedicated to wines in relation to their production area identified along the linear extension of the dry walls of the Cembra Valley, true soul and peculiarity of the territory.
In addition to the marketing of wines, grappas and sparkling wines from the Cembra Valley and the organization of territorial animation events, the Consortium Cembrani D.O.C. deals with the promotion, direction and management of services, initiatives and activities, which see the competition of public and private subjects also of an intersectoral nature (agriculture, crafts, commerce, environment and tourism), able to promote the whole territory, to enhance local production and the provision of advanced services in favor of operators in the agricultural, craft, trade, environment and tourism sectors.
To date, 21 private companies are in addition to the partners who collaborate in the territorial enhancement project, registering new members every year, a real driving force for the development of community participation in the growth of the Cembra Valley.
The activities put in place are manifold, including two events to promote the area, Baiti En Festa in summer and Caneve En Festa in autumn, and the calendar of daily activities from June to September for the enhancement of local products, through visits to companies agricultural and educational workshops, bookable on the website.
