Where to shop in Neive, Cuneo, Piedmont

Rivetti Family makes wine from five generations: the farm in the fraction of Froi, in the village of Neive, with its 12 hectares of vineyards, is owned by the family since 1947 and is cited with the cellar in military maps at the end of the Nineteenth Century. Other 8 hectares are planted in two farmhouses in the municipalities of Mango and Alba, with younger vineyards in the first case and in full maturity in the second. The vineyards of Neive, exposed to the south and south-west, have between 30 and 50 years and are included in the two sub-areas of merit for the production of Barbaresco from Nebbiolo grapes, calls Rivets and Serraboella: precisely these wines - Barbaresco Froi Reserve, Barbaresco Serraboella Reserve and the Barbera d'Alba Serraboella received in different vintages international awards (Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, decanter). In addition to Nebbiolo and Barbera are cultivated Moscato d'Asti and Cabernet Sauvignon. We have tasted also a good Langhe Arneis that comes from young vines of Mango. "The cultivation is biological to work in a healthy environment", he told us the holder, by explaining to us that all the grapes of Langa are collected manually, the grass is cut by hand, the yeasts used are the same as those of the vineyard, and you use the natural manure spreading herbs and essences between rows.
