The Palazzo Pretorio, the thirteenth-century residence of the Captain of Justice, now houses the Historical Archive of the Municipality of Campiglia Marittima, the Children's Library, the Museo del Minerale, an art gallery that contains the works of Carlo Guarnieri, and a space to ground floor for ceremonies and conferences.
On the main facade are still inserted the numerous coats of arms of the Capitani who, between the XV and XVII centuries, ruled on behalf of Florence. The tower, robust and imposing, shows a large clock and a bell that marks the passing of the hours. For wine enthusiasts, the Palazzo is an information point and promotion center for the Costa degli Etruschi Wine Route.
