WWF Italy Oasis from 1991, the Sagittarius' Gorges Natural Reserve of anversa degli abruzzi extends over 450 hectares from 500 to 1500 m., in Abruzzo. Hosts numerous animal species including the Golden Eagle, the Chough, the wolf, the Marsican Brown Bear. The environmental types are very different. Among the most representative there are the cliffs and the calcareous screes, dry meadows, the vegetation of the sources, the mesophile valley, the beech tree and the prairies primary high altitude. In these places found shelter numerous plants of remarkable naturalistic interest and conservation. Particularly interesting is the numerous sources of water present in the territory that attest an extraordinary biodiversity.
