Church of Sant'Antonio Abate in Sasso

What to see in Gargnano, Brescia, Lombardy

the building that today it has a single nave, is probably arose in the XVII century on the ruins of a chapel of the twelfth century. Originally the chaplaincy dependent gargnanese church of S. Martino, S. Antonio Abate was elected parish in 1646.

Within three altars: the high altar, behind which stands the statue of the patron saint St Antonio Abate, the altar dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary and one dedicated to the Last Supper, embellished by a canvas of the XVIII century, the work of the painter enacense Stefano Celesti.

The unique panorama of the lake where you can enjoy walking on the esplanade.
