The church of Our Lady of Sorrows of Lignod was enlarged in 1777 by Giovan Battista Prince. However the Universal Judgment of the facade dates back to the painter Franz Curta, who painted in the Nineteenth Century. This fresco is set according to some on the model of the Universal Judgment of Michelangelo Buonarroti.
