Bandiera Arancione and Borghi Autentici associations marry the 'e-borghi' project

We are very pleased to announce that our e-borghi circuit, dedicated to the promotion of villages, local areas and slow tourism, has obtained the prestigious patronage of two important organizations such as Associazione Paesi Bandiera Arancione and Associazione Borghi Autentici d’Italia. Associazione Paesi Bandiera Arancione is the quality mark, issued by the Touring Club Italiano, which is assigned to places that not only enjoy a valuable historical, cultural and environmental heritage, but also know how to offer tourists a quality welcome. Associazione Borghi Autentici d’Italia, on the other hand, aims to rediscover Italian villages as places to live, support and preserve, bringing together small and medium-sized municipalities, local authorities that follow a model of sustainable local development.

For us who are daily engaged in providing users with historical, artistic, cultural and landscape informations of the most beautiful and evocative towns in Italy, through our online portal e-borghi.com (available on all devices) and pages of our digital magazine e-borghi travel (free online monthly magazine that you find on the site), it is certainly a source of great pride to have the support of two such authoritative bodies in the tourism sector, as we share exactly the same goals of enhancing small Italian companies, which represent the "great beauty" of our wonderful country.
