A very fine variety, grown today also in the Padana plain, obtained by a junction with an Asian variety.
It is a very aromatic rice, rich in nutritional properties and a high content of phosphorus, magnesium and potassium.
Has the pericarp of a natural black color. This rice gives its best paired with meat or fish, especially with rice salads and crustaceans.
Cooking time: about 45 minutes.
