Palio di Asolo and Palio dei Cento Orizzonti

📅 26 June 2026 – 28 June 2026

From 26 to 28 June 2026, Asolo will once again host one of its most cherished and spectacular events: the 33rd edition of the Palio di Asolo and the 15th edition of the Palio dei Cento Orizzonti. An event that combines sport, tradition and community spirit, involving hundreds of young people from numerous towns in the area at the foot of Monte Grappa.

The Palio di Asolo is much more than just a competition. Behind a race that lasts only a few minutes lie months of preparation, training and passion. Over 300 young people train throughout the year to tackle the demanding climbs of Asolo’s historic centre, with the aim of securing victory and bringing glory to their team and their town.

The event will kick off on Friday 26 June in Piazza Brugnoli with the official presentation of the participating teams and the traditional draw for the starting order. A much-anticipated moment that marks the start of a weekend dedicated to competition and celebration.

On Saturday 27 June, the women’s teams from the Palio di Asolo and the Palio dei Cento Orizzonti will take centre stage. From 6.00 pm, the athletes will compete along the town’s route in a race that tests their speed, endurance and team spirit. The day will be opened by the Parish Band and the Maser Majorettes, whilst the evening will continue with the prize-giving ceremony, food trucks and musical entertainment open to all residents.

On Sunday 28 June, it will be the turn of the men’s teams to compete for the prestigious prize. The races will kick off at 5.00 pm with the Palio dei Cento Orizzonti competition, followed by the main event, the Palio di Asolo. Once the races are over, the official prize-giving ceremony and the grand closing party will take place in Piazza Brugnoli.

The event involves numerous local municipalities, which take part every year with enthusiasm and a sense of community. Among the protagonists of the Palio dei Cento Orizzonti are Altivole, Caerano di San Marco, Castelcucco, Cornuda, Crocetta del Montello, Fonte, Maser, Monfumo, Montebelluna, Pederobba, Pieve del Grappa, Possagno, Riese Pio X, San Zenone degli Ezzelini and, of course, Asolo, ready to welcome athletes and visitors.

The Palio di Asolo is one of the events most closely associated with the Treviso area, bringing whole communities together and showcasing the historical and scenic heritage of the “City of a Hundred Horizons”. A weekend dedicated to sport, tradition and community spirit, which attracts large crowds every year to the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in the Veneto region.
