They love nature so much that they try to equal their beauty. They love nature so intensely as to let it decide the duration of what they create. They are internationally renowned artists and students of European art academies who leave their mark every summer in the RespirArt Art Park in Pampeago, Val di Fiemme, participating in the international environmental art event curated by Beatrice Calamari and Marco Nones. In this art park in the Trentino Dolomites, one of the highest in the world, the Japanese performer Hidetoshi Nagasawa also created an installation.

Respirart day

Saturday July 27th, the traveling party RespirArt Day reveals 5 new art installations in addition to the 22 already present. Presenting them is Maria Concetta Mattei, journalist and presenter of TG2 Storie. Visitors walk by his side in front of the Latemar Dolomite group, along the 3 kilometer artistic ring path between 2.200 and 2.000 meters. The RespirArt Day, included in the calendar of events celebrating the 10th anniversary of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, hosts the Swedish artist Hannah Streefkerk, appreciated by critics for her embroideries of lichens resting on the trees, and the award-winning artist Stanisław Brach, known for his works dedicated to bees, working alongside his pupils of the Warsaw Academy of Art Artem Dmytrenko and Filip Musiał.

Among the environmental art exponents is the Terrae Group, formed by Giuseppe Dondi, Alberto Larcher, Roberto Rossi and Fabio Seppi, which proposes an installation to accompany the rebirth of the forests affected by the Vaia storm on October 29, 2018. The artist by Riva del Garda Giovanni Bailoni dedicates a work to the geologist and mineralist Déodat de Dolomieu (from which the name Dolomia was born), on the occasion of the first ten years of Dolomites UNESCO, assembling the old roofs of the Dolomite huts. Invites the man to look with his eyes at the tree, instead, at the installation of the student of the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice Martina Pomari. At the end of the "L'Arteritivo" event of the Endrizzi winery, one of the oldest in Trentino, it offers the tasting of a wine that smells of the woods of the Dolomites.
