From 10 to 12 September 2021, three days of goat love will be experienced. While they return from the pastures adorned with flowers, events will be taking place in the village.
On Friday, visitors will be able to enter the Maso Corradini to taste small fruits or watch the goats being milked at the Agritur Piasina. You can experience the last day with them at Malga Agnelezza, before the big return, or admire the alpine sunset at Malga Sadole.
The Capreritivo with goat's cheese from the Caseificio di Cavalese will be enjoyed on Friday and Saturday, from 6.00 p.m., at the Bar Plaza, at the Bistrot Panificio Betta Botega dal pan and at the Caffè da te.
On Saturday morning, an awakening of well-being will await you with yoga at Maso Pertica. After a rich sweet and savoury breakfast, you will immerse yourself in the trees of the Brozin Biotope to breathe in the natural essences by practising "forest bathing".
The gourmet aperitif at Chalet Cermis, also in picnic version, will be enjoyed from 11.00 to 13.00 on the grass, with cheeses from the Val di Fiemme combined with Trentodoc and wines from the Endrizzi winery.
On Saturday, from 3.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., the travelling show "Entorno par Cavales" will take you from Piazza Ress to the Parco della Pieve, with the La Pastière company, which will talk about milk and cheese and devote stops to the processing of Tingola Fiemme sheep's wool and the secrets of Val di Fiemme honey.
To conclude, it will be possible to enjoy an artisan snack from Cose Buone da Paolo on the grass. Then Beniamino will reveal the world of bees at the park's flying chamber from 4.30 pm.
Also on Saturday, at 5 p.m., you can watch the shearing of the Tingola Fiemmese sheep and the processing of its wool in the Parco della Pieve.
From 6.30 p.m. in Piazza Dante, in Cavalese, "Polenta Biota": typical dishes based on polenta and specialities of Fiemme cuisine to be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace or in the warm stube of Ristorante La Stüa.
On Sunday morning Cavalese will wake up at 9.00 a.m. with the cheerful Itinerant Concert of the Banda Sociale di Cavalese (Cavalese Social Band), which starts from the Pagoda and goes through the streets of the town centre.
In the town you can take a ride in the carriage of a traditional breeder coachman or walk with the llamas and alpacas of the El Molin B&B, starting from Piazzetta Rizzoli.
At 10.00 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. you can draw with seeds, petals and flowers at the Giardinetto della Magnifica, taking part in Fiordalisa's workshop, and you can also visit the Palazzo della Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme, which is also open in the afternoon.
At 11.30 a.m., a goat's toast in the Revelin at the back of the Magnifica Comunità, with a selection of goat's cheeses from the Caseificio Val di Fiemme, accompanied by mustards from Terre Altre and Cembrani DOC wines.
From 12.00 noon, in Piazza Scopoli, there will be sandwiches stuffed with Km0 products and tasty fortaie from the Associazione Allevatori Caprini di Fiemme.
Typical food, also starting at 12.00 noon, in Piazza Dante with the "Pranzo del Pastore" (Shepherd's Lunch): polenta, cheese, tripe in broth, canederli, gulaschsuppe, traditional sweets and much more to be eaten on the terrace or in the Sissi stube of the La Stüa Restaurant.
On Sunday at 14.00, the goats and breeders will say goodbye to Cavalese with a long parade. This time they will not stop in Piazza Dante for the award ceremony in order to avoid crowds.
The public is invited to keep their distance and wear masks while waiting for and passing through the parade.
Other opportunities to savour goat's cheese will be offered by the Caseificio Sociale di Fiemme, open both in the morning and in the afternoon, and the Rassegna Gastronomica Magnifici Prodotti di Fiemme which, from 4 to 12 September, will offer menus with goat's cheese products and delicacies from Fiemme in the restaurants, holiday farms and hotels of Cavalese that are members of the Strada dei Formaggi delle Dolomiti and the Tradizione e Gusto club (€ 20.00 per person, drinks not included).
And for the Sunday of the Desmontegada de le Caore, the Alpe Cermis ski lifts will offer a special rate: € 5.00 for the entire route! Continuous opening hours (09.00-17.30).
Children up to 8 years of age are free.
