The Sacred Representation of historical and religious "The Passion of the Christ" originated in Oria around the 1930s. Today is organized and directed by the Association Group Human Promotion and è it has become an irreplaceable fixture, which is a prelude to the rites reminiscent of Holy Week. The dramatization retraces the salient phases of the Passion of Christ by’Entrance into Jerusalem, to the preparation of the Passover meal, up to the impressive scene of the Crucifixion and Resurrection and è divided into fifteen scenes. Particularly cared are the colors of the lights, sound effects, music, costumes, the scenery, the choreography and the dramatization, involving over two hundred characters without distinction of età. Both players that appearances are not professionals, are bensì chosen between the citizenship, in such a way as to have a large popular participation.
