The patron saint's festival of San Matteo in Laigueglia is the festival that closes the summer and opens the winter season: in addition to the religious celebrations, during which the statue of the patron saint is carried in procession through the streets of the ancient village, the municipality organises "S. MaTè - da u-mò e da-a tera", the traditional "San Matteo fair".
