The most important one in the country. Late in the afternoon of June 14, the saint is put aboard a raft and performs the procession by sea from the port of San Vito to the beach of Cala Paura where he is welcomed by the faithful, then carried in procession through the town and at the end the saint raised on an altar set up in Vittorio Emanuele Square where the mayor lays the keys to the town. The following day, after the bishop's mass in Vittorio Emanuele Square, the saint's relics are carried in procession by the bishop. On June 16, the saint is taken from the altar for the final procession. Grand band concert, fireworks with special effects and illuminations enliven these festive days.
