The Feast of the Well was born in 1984 from an idea of the Proloco, reviving an old feast from the 1940s dedicated "the Dew of St. John," linked to the rites of the summer solstice, according to popular tradition. The festival was held around the 18th-century public well in the ancient Cavallotti Square. Since then the festival has become a regular event with great public participation. Since 2010 the festival has been held in the central Piazza Bentivoglio on the third weekend of June with food and wine, music and dance events.
